May Sweeps is over, pools are opening, grills are firing up, and beach trips are being planned. It's Sexy Saturday here at TV Fanatic and we're set for summer with these sexy TV characters who are sporting their swimwear.

As the temperatures continue to rise, what better way to cool off than slipping on your favorite swimsuit and hitting the water? That's what these TV characters chose to do! Some are hitting the waves with their surfboards, some prefer the pool to the ocean, and others prefer to stay dry and are satisfied just soaking up the sun.

Regardless of your preference, check out our slideshow of sexy men and women donning swimwear and then head outside to enjoy the surf, sun, and sand for yourselves!

1. Olivia Pope - Scandal

Olivia
It's hard to blame Olivia for leaving it all behind to hide out on an island with Jake. Who wouldn't want to trade in their home and job for the sun and sand, especially when there are regular deliveries of wine?

2. Kate Beckett - Castle

Beckett
When Castle and Beckett head to Los Angeles for a case, Kate uses her power of seduction and a sexy one-piece to get her man, not to mention her partner's attention.

3. Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams - Hawaii Five-O

Hawaii 5 0
The men (and woman) of Hawaii Five-0 are always attractive, but watching Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams surfing on the Hawaii shore will make you long for summer, sun, and some sexy, sexy gentlemen!

4. The Cast of Baywatch

The cast of baywatch
While lifeguarding has always been a hot profession, the slow motion shots and sexy, impractical swimsuits launched a million fantasies and turned stars Pamela Anderson and Yasmine Bleeth into bonafide sex symbols.

5. Nikita Mears - Nikita

Nikita mears
Nikita knows how to use her sexiness to her advantage when it comes to taking down her enemy. That bathing suit certainly doesn't seem to have any effect on her kick ass fighting skills!

6. Derek Morgan and Elle Greenaway - Criminal Minds

Derek morgan and elle greenaway
The members of the Behavior Analysis Unit don't get much time for R&R, but when those rare times occur, they relax in style! Unfortunately for Derek and Elle, this vacation was cut short by a case, but at least they managed to squeeze some sun in first!

Who's up for a little friendly competition?

Here at TV Fanatic we're celebrating our competitive side by looking at some of the best contests in small screen history.

From talent shows to drinking games (don't try these at home folks!), these characters put it all on the line to compete for everything from money to pride. They didn't all win, but they had fun anyway - and we more than enjoyed watching them battle it out!

These characters prove that you don't have to be watching a reality show in order to see great competition on TV.

Which contests were the most captivating? Check out our picks and let us know who your winners are! Remember, no one likes a sore loser!

13 Hot Hookups That Were Well Worth the Wait

$

Most of today's television shows have that one couple: the will-they-won't-they, the one that viewers watch, and longingly await that moment...the moment when they're FINALLY about to give in to their desires, and we all yell, "Just hook up already!"

From love that spanned the 60's to a hot hookup in prison, these couples showed us that sometimes, when you're really patient, the end result makes the journey there all the better.

This Sexy Saturday, here are 13 hookups that were totally worth waiting for.

1. Peggy and Stan, Mad Men

Peggy and stan mad men s7e14
They were competitive co-workers, who grew into friends... best friends, in fact. Over the years, Peggy confided in Stan, shared late nights with him, and they had one very "sexy" hotel room copy session. Stan was, outside of Don and Pete, the only person in Peggy's life to whom she ever willingly opened up about the son she gave up for adoption. Peggy and Stan were the realtionship you didn't know you shipped until it was right in front of you. Peggy didn't even realize that she loved Stan until his admission of love to her over the phone. Just as Peggy reached the end of her own love realization monologue, Stan arrived at her office to finally, after much delay, plant one on Peggy.

2. Stefan and Caroline, The Vampire Diaries

Sundown the vampire diaries
Back when Caroline first became a vampire, and Stefan helped her curb her bloodlust, we saw that first spark that made us think, maybe... just MAYBE. But Stefan was in love with Elena, and frankly, we forgot about it. As the years went on, and Elena moved on to Damon, Stefan and Caroline's growing closeness became the slowest burn in Mystic Falls. When the pair finally realized that they loved each other, and shared that incredibly hot (albeit, incredibly poorly timed) first kiss, Steroline fans rejoiced around the world.

3. Nick and Jess, New Girl

Nick and jess on new girl
Nick and Jess danced around one another, showing glimmers of jealousy over each other's many significant others over several seasons, but never showed one another any sign of having feelings that were more than friendly. After an epic game of True American, the roomies were forced into a corner to kiss, and forced to come to terms with the fact that they just might want to be more than roomies. When Nick finally pulled Jess in for an uber hot kiss in their loft hallway, jaws dropped, and collective sighs were let out from couches across the country,

4. Emma and Hook, Once Upon a Time

Hook and emma grow closer
From his arrival in Storybrooke, Hook had his eye on Emma, the town sheriff and the savior. They clearly had sexual tension, like immediately, but Emma was far too moral to ever allow herself to fall for the evil Captain Hook. When he helped to save her father though, Emma began to change her tune, and see that maybe Hook wasn't such a bad guy after all. Although it would strip her of her magic, and Hook tried incredibly hard to thwart her from doing so, when Emma finally kissed him, for REAL... that was real magic worth waiting for.

5. Jamie and Claire, Outlander

Jamie and claire share a quiet moment outlander
Through the beginning of season one of Outlander, the chemistry and buildup between Jamie and Claire ran rampant. His loyal protection of her, his devotion, that accent, and let's face it, his incredible good looks, made viewers swoon aloud. Many fans of the books awaited their wedding, high anticipating... well, you know... and viewers who didn't know what to expect were pretty darn delighted. The moment when Jamie and his, "Sassenach," got down and dirty was easily one of the hottest things to happen on television, and worth every second spent in anticipation.

6. April and Leo, Chasing Life

First date chasing life
Cancer brought April and Leo together, a friendship that otherwise seemed unlikely, considering her driven and uptight attitude, and his tendancy to leans towards cockiness, and dangerous scenarios. As Leo and April got to know each other in their cancer support group, they both let their guards down, and gradually, April saw what a kind and generous man Leo was as he helped members of the group live out their dreams before death. April also began to see, with Leo's help, that while her future was important to fight for, she also needed to live in the moment and allow herself to have fun. April allowed herself to do just that, after Leo helped a friend by throwing them an early funeral. She and Leo gave in to their increasing attraction, right there in the funeral home. Living in the moment never looked so good.

2015 Emmy Nominations: Who Got Snubbed?

$

The 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced today - and we think there were shows and actors who were overlooked.

However, there are only so many spots on the nominations list.

So, who should have been included and who gets toppled off the list to make room? Part of our logic is this – spread the love. While they did a pretty good job of it this year, if any one show got too many nominations, well...

Find out what happens with our Emmy Snub list below!

1. Empire

Empire cast pic
Empire came in and took audiences, ratings and good drama by storm. Game of Thrones really struggled out of the gate. Only one can get a spot on the ballot.

2. The Good Wife

The good wife season 6 premiere pic
The Good Wife went into unchartered territory this year and continued its winning streak. We saw more of the same out of Downton.

3. Jane the Virgin

Jane the virgin photo
For the first time, The CW had a chance to get on the board with Jane the Virgin, a funny, smart comedy. We're giving it to them over Modern Family which hasn't shown a lot of growth over the years.

4. Sam Hueghan

Sam heughan as james mackenzie fraser outlander
Sam Hueghan had some of the most difficult scenes to pull off in Outlander, and while we love Kyle Chandler, note for note, new series for new series, Hueghan has Chandler beat.

5. Matthew Rhys

Matthew rhys
Another year, another snub for The Americans. While everyone deserves to be on the list, Matthew Rhys over Jeff Daniels for The Newsroom is the easiest of them all.

6. Ruth Wilson

An unexpected visit the affair
Ruth Wilson got a Golden Globe for her mesmerizing performance as the confused and love struck adulterer on The Affair, but no love here. Robin Wright was wonderful, as well, but House of Cards has other noms.

Megan Fox to Join New Girl as New Roommate

New Girl is set to add a rather hot girl.

Sources have confirmed that Megan Fox will come on board New Girl Season 5 of this Fox sitcom for multiple episodes, moving in to the loft while Zooey Deschanel is on maternity leave.

Foxy

Fox will portray Reagan, a straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales representative who is in town on business.

Look for the beauty to shake things up when she rents out Jess’ room while our favorite middle school principal is sequestered on jury duty.

Fox will debut on Episode 6 of Season 5.

(The series filmed the first five episodes of Season 5 last spring prior to Deschanel taking off on maternity leave; she gave birth to a daughter in August.)

“It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it,” said executive producer Liz Meriwether in a statement.

“I’ve been a fan of her comedic skills since This is 40, and I’m so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part - she’s the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up.”

New Girl will return in January.

19 Ghoulishly Great Halloween Parties

It's not just about ghouls and goblins, although some of these parties have actual demons on the guest list. Whether it's fearful or funny, Halloween may be the one holiday that every TV show eventually celebrates.

From the nerdiest costumes to a couple's very first kiss, heartbreaking declarations to the return of lost love and playing epic pranks to the joy of finding full size candy bars in your trick-or-treat bag, these Halloween parties go from hilarious to heart warming.

Don't be scared. The bunnies aren't really evil, at least we don't think so. Check out the 19 most memorable Halloween parties on TV.

1. Castle - "Vampire Weekend"

Castles halloween bash
An investigation into a vampire fetish community eventually wrapped up with Rick Castle throwing an epic Halloween bash for all of his friends. Castle actually wore two costumes in Castle Season 2 Episode 6, “Vampire Weekend” The first was from Nathan Fillion’s cult favorite Firefly character Capt. Mal Reynolds but for the actual party he dressed as one of his favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe. Our favorites were Lanie as Cat Woman and Martha as Cruella de Vil.

2. How I Met Your Mother - "The Slutty Pumpkin"

How i met your mother the slutty pumpkin
Marshall was Jack Sparrow and Lily the green parrot. Robin's boyfriend broke up with her when he showed up as Hansel but she skipped the Gretel costume. But it was Ted (as a Hanging Chad) waiting to find his Slutty Pumpkin, the girl whose number he lost when Lily threw away his Kit Kat that stole the show. Ten years later Ted finally found the girl (Katie Holmes) but realized that after ten years of searching, the chemistry was gone.

3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine - "Halloween II"

The bet brooklyn nine nine
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of those shows that knows how to do Halloween right, using the holiday to provide the perfect backdrop for a hilarious and tense competition between two intelligent cops. Jake and Captain Holt spend each Halloween trying to get the best of each other. In Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 1 Episode 6, Jake proved his cunning and his worth, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 Episode 4 had Captain Holt completely dominate the competition. We hope this goes on for a long time!

4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Fear, Itself"

Buffy the vampire slayer season season 4 episode 4 fear itself
Buffy and her friends dress up for a Halloween party at a frat house inhabitated by a demon that feeds on their individual fears. Who wouldn’t have fun with that? Buffy goes as Little Red Riding Hood, Giles is wearing a sombrero, Willow is Joan of Arc and Xander goes as James Bond but our favorite is Anya in a bunny costume because what could be more terrifying than bunnies?

5. Cougar Town - “You Don’t Know How it Feels”

Cougar town you dont know how it feels
Cougar Town Season 2 Episode 6 had a lot of heart to go along with the laughs. Since her mother’s death, Jules was desperate to find a way to bond with her Dad but he seemed to be interested in anything but that at her Halloween party. On the strangely funny side we had Ellie and Laurie dressing as each other or Travis dressing as Andy. Now that’s something we’d only see on Cougar Town.

6. Bones - "Mummy in the Maze"

Bones mummy in the maze
A mandatory Halloween party at the Jeffersonian meant mummified bodies, a hay maze, an amusement park funhouse and a shootout with a clown. What more could you want from Bones Season 3 Episode 5? How about the the most memorable moment of the entire episode? Temperance Brennan decked out in her Wonder Woman outfit!

New Girl Casts Peter Gallagher as Schmidt's Dad

The New Girl cast is growing again.

It's been announced that Peter Gallagher will be joining as Schmidt's dad. While he's a pretty cool guy in his own right, that's not what makes this New Girl Season 5 news so noteworthy.

Peter Gallagher New Girl

If you've followed the career of Peter Gallagher, you know he played Sandy Cohen on The O.C. (Oh, how we miss the Cohen family.)

Did you know that Max Greenfield (Schmidt) also played Sandy Cohen on The O.C.?!

In a flashback, he received the coveted role of Young Sandy Cohen, so the casting departments of two shows discovered a significant resemblance between these two talented actors.

Earlier this year, we also brought you the news that Megan Fox would be joining the cast as a new roomie while Jess is off at Jury Duty.

If you can't wait for all the goodness to come your way, you can always watch New Girl online right here via TV Fanatic to cure your cravings!

17 Thanksgiving Dinners We'll Never Forget

Thanksgiving is almost here and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to reminisce about some of our favorite Thanksgiving dinners!

Some were bad, some were good; others were good because they were so bad. All of them cemented themselves in television history as staples for Thanksgiving viewing.

From the awkward to the over-the-top, here are some of our favorite memorable Thanksgiving meals!

1. You Just Got Slapped, How I Met Your Mother

You just got slapped how i met your mother
On, "Slapsgiving," the countdown was on for Barney to receive one of the five slaps he had earned after losing a bet about whether or not Robin was in a porn movie. (She was just a Canadian pop-star!) Throughout dinner, Barney panics about Marshall’s every movie, waiting for the slap. Meanwhile Robin, who has just broken up with Ted, has brought a date to Thanksgiving dinner and he’s just a little older, but Ted sees him as an old man throughout the evening. After Barney finally receives his slap, Marshall leads the gang in the lovely tune, “You Just Got Slapped.” Everybody saw it, and everybody laughed and clapped.

2. She Gives Good Parent, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Thanksgiving dinner crazy ex girlfriend
On "My First Thanksgiving with Josh!," Rebecca is invited to the big Filipino feast, and she’s determined to give “good parent” to Josh’s parents and make them love her more than they love his current girlfriend, Valencia. Filipino food doesn’t agree with Rebecca and she lands herself in the bathroom, where she has to decide between pooping or listening to Josh have sex with Valencia. Maybe she should have just flown to New York and watched the dog show with her mother.

3. A Braverman Family Thanksgiving, Parenthood

A braverman family thanksgiving parenthood
Wouldn’t we all want to spend Thanksgiving with the Braverman clan? On "Happy Thanksgiving," Adam is stressed out, Julia just wants to make a good pie, Sarah just had a big fight with her boss/boyfriend, and Crosby is desperately trying to impress his girlfriend’s mom. After an awkward prayer at the dinner table, dinner goes off without a hitch, and the Braverman kids find themselves dancing in the kitchen, once again, making us all wish our families were this functional.

4. Jack Tells His Mom He's Gay, Will & Grace

Jack tells his mom hes gay will and grace
It’s hard to believe, but Jack STILL hasn’t told his family that he’s gay! On "Homo for the Holidays," when Jack discovers that his mother is coming for Thanksgiving, he asks his friends to help him with his straight charade. Will, Grace, and Karen all think that he needs to come clean about his sexuality. It turns out that Jack’s mother has a secret of her own to share at dinner…Jack’s father isn’t who he thinks he is!

5. Hanksgiving, New Girl

Hanksgiving new girl
Jess really likes Paul, so she invites him to spend Thanksgiving with the gang on, "Thanksgiving." She gets the last turkey in America, names it Hank, and then realizes that she has no idea how to cook a turkey. She enlists Schmidt’s help in making Thanksgiving a little more sexy, but the gang ends up smoked out of their apartment. It’s no problem though, because Jess has a key to the neighbor’s apartment. They prepare the feast there and are ready to have a great meal together…until Paul finds their neighbor dead in the bathroom. This goes down as not only the most memorable dinner on New Girl, but also as one of the best installments the series has ever had.

6. Food Fight at Carla's, Cheers

Food fight at carlas cheers
When Diane discovers that many members of the Cheers family don’t have plans for Thanksgiving, she suggests that they all spend the holiday having dinner at Carla’s new home on, "Thanksgiving Orphans." The gang agrees, and plans to have the best Thanksgiving ever, complete with an appearance by Vera, Norm’s never-seen wife. Naturally, the dinner doesn’t quite go as planned, and a food fight ensues, and just as the audience is FINALLY about to get a good look at Vera, she takes a pie to the face.

It's nearly time for new episodes of New Girl.

Premiering on Tuesday, January 5, New Girl Season 5 will featured "big events" and "bad decisions," according to the first official network promo.

It will also feature a bevy of impressive guest stars, none bigger than Megan Fox, who will stop by for multiple episodes as a new loft roommate while star Zooey Deschanel is on maternity leave.

Fred Armisen (in glasses and a wig) will also guest star as a stalker, while Elizabeth Berkley Lauren is not included in the following promo.

But the former Saved by the Bell actress will appear in March as the new principal at Jess’ middle school.

New Girl Season 4, of course, concluded with Schmidt and CeCe realizing they cannot live without each other... and agreeing to get married!

The impending wedding will be a major theme of Season 5, with viewers being treated to some dress fittings, an engagement party and an epic meeting of the parents.

In the following trailer, we also get to see what a "prostitute for wizards" looks like, according to Winston at least.

Go visit our section of New Girl quotes if you need to get your hilarious fix on and then check out scenes from upcoming episodes now.

We can't wait.

You're the Worst on FXX is truly unlike any other comedy on TV. It's fantastically well-acted, with memorable characters, and crazy quotable dialogue. This year, they really went there with Gretchen's depression arc and it gave the writers and actors a chance to really shine, resulting in some of the best episodes of any series (drama or comedy) of the year.

3. The Leftovers - HBO

The leftovers
The Leftovers did what very few hour long dramas do – it reinvented itself in its second season. The concept remained the same, but with a new location, a new core family and raising the supernatural (or religious) element just a bit, the intensity was amazing. Each character brought something different and mesmerizing to the table. The story was invigorating, and while not cheerful, still full of hope and emotionally moving. Well done.

4. Catastrophe - Amazon

Catastrophe amazon
Catastrophe, available on Amazon in the US, is the hilariously awkward story of two strangers starting a life together. What sets this comedy apart is how honest it is. Rob and Sharon may face some serious problems as they start their life together, but they always manage to bring levity to the situation with a filthy turn of phrase.

5. The Americans - FX

The americans fx
The Americans never strays far from the very best, but as the Jennings' daughter, Paige, starts to grow up and question her parents every move, the stakes have never been higher. We've already seen what can happen to a family when the communication isn't straightforward between spies and their teen. Will it happen with the Jennings, too? Dealing with life or death spy games and trying to keep a teenager in check, it turns out, is riveting.

6. Parks and Recreation - NBC

Parks and recreation nbc
Parks and Recreation finished its fantastic seven year run on a high note. The final season gave us some great laughs and memorable moments such as "Treat Yo Self" Beverly Hills, the return of fan favorites Ann and Chris, and the touching and hilarious reconcilation of Ron and Leslie. The series finale was a more than satisfying ending, giving us a look into the happy futures of all our favorite characters.

New Girl Season 5 Episode 1 Review: Big Mama P

All hail Winston the hero!

It's no secret that New Girl Season 4 was choppy and uneven. It seemed like characters were being written strangely and storylines were all over the place. I was nervous about what a new season would bring.

Thankfully, New Girl Season 5 Episode 1 erased all those worries away and even threw in an outstanding dance number to make things even better. Let's get right down to it and discuss, "Big Mama P."

It was pretty comical watching the parallels between Schmidt asking Nick to be his best man and Cece asking Jess to be her maid of honor. It really would have been perfect to switch the roles around and have Schmidt ask Jess and Cece ask Nick – Schmidt and Jess seem way more into the whole wedding thing.

Regarding the wedding, is anyone else surprised by how elaborate Schmidt wants the wedding? I can't even begin to imagine what direction they end up going, but I will guess things won't go as planned and it will turn into some type of low key affair. At least Schmidt has a pretty awesome vision board.

The plus side about this whole wedding is the relationship between Schmidt and Jess. It's almost like these two were always meant to plan a wedding together with the way they were discussing everything. I also wasn't shocked to learn Cece hadn't told her mom about being engaged to Schmidt.

Jess should have known Cece would have been nervous about sharing her engagement news with her mom because of the scrutiny she knew she was going to receive. It was pretty heartbreaking how stubborn Cece's mom was about the engagement, and it's a shame she didn't give her blessing.

Moving on to another topic, Winston being the hero police officer was great. While I know a lot of people are over Winston being stupid-funny, it just fits him perfectly. Winston is always going to be the one person who wears his heart on his sleeve, but is also a complete moron when it comes to various situations.

In the end, I was reminded why I have always stuck with this show – the friendship. Say what you will about Schmidt and Cece getting married, but when Jess, Winston and Nick gave their blessing my heart grew three sizes. At the end of the day, New Girl is about the love between friends and how far we'll go to make sure our friends are happy.

What did you think of Cece's mom not giving her blessing? Will Nick end up being a great best man?

And Winston Bishop! And Nick Miller! And Schmidt and CeCe! It was a pleasure to see you again on New Girl Season 5 Episode 1.

The return of this Fox sitcom found Jess trying to plan the perfect engagement party for CeCe and Schmidt.

She tried to do so by surprising CeCe with a visit from her mom, but there was a slight problem: CeCe had not yet told her mom that she was engaged to Schmidt.

How did this reveal eventually go over? What did Schmidt do to try and earn his future mother-in-law's blessing?

New Girl Season 5 Episode 2 Review: What About Fred?

I really hope Winston was able to get that knot out of Ferguson's fur.

On New Girl Season 5 Episode 2, Jess made a small attempt to get back into the dating world, but took a couple wrong turns along the way.

I was a little nervous about an episode surrounding Jess getting back into the swing of things, but was pleasantly surprised by the results.

Let's not waste anymore time and discuss, "What About Fred?"

Running the Bar - New Girl

Nick, as manager of the bar, is exactly what I was expecting from him. I wasn't surprised he was trying to teach the bartender how to "professionally" slide a glass. This is Nick we're talking about. Schmidt really should have seen all of this coming.

Schmidt has known Nick forever, and there's no way he didn't think of at least training Nick on the proper way to manage a bar. I couldn't help laughing at Nick trying to hold a staff meeting and assert his dominance in the group. At least he tried.

I don't understand why Schmidt was even trying to change Nick. This has been done in the past with terrible results.

When it comes to Nick and Schmidt's work ethics, Nick is more of the good cop, and Schmidt is the bad cop. They both really need to play to their strengths if the bar is going to survive.

It honestly would make more sense if Nick was in charge of the staff and Schmidt was in charge of the paperwork. Nick still needs to learn how to be stern with the staff but also have them know he's on their side, as well.

Then we have Jess and her adventures in the dating world. Of course she'd get stuck with a dud. Even though Fred's parents were awesome, I don't think I would have been able to stay with Fred for so long.

The problem Jess has with her dating life is she's looking for the perfect relationship – it doesn't exist. It doesn't matter how much you have in common with someone, you're going to fight with them, and Jess still hasn't realized this.

I hope someone comes along for Jess who is a great match, but there is no such thing as a perfect match, and I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

The most important thing of note? Ferguson was back! I was beyond thrilled to see Winston talking to Ferguson while trying to get the knot out of his fur. The relationship between Winston and his cat is hysterical because it's how many people view their own animals.

They really could structure an entire episode around Ferguson, and I think people would love it. Maybe the writers should look into doing an episode from only Ferguson's point of view – what the cat sees on a daily basis.

In the end, things took an awkward turn when Fred's parents tried to persuade Jess to stay with Fred because she was the daughter they always wanted. After hearing Fred talk about trains, I don't blame his parents for wanting Jess to stay. How did they not fall asleep listening to him?

Calling all wine lovers!

We have gathered a whole group of women so you don't have to drink alone!

We're not sure if these women were planning on drinking to excess, but there is little doubt with the way they're swilling it down, they're about to be wasted.

Grab your wine glass, or hell, just the bottle, and join them for a toast, will you?

It's five o'clock somewhere!

1. Amy Schumer Isn't Wasting Any Time!

Amy schumer isnt wasting any time
If you're a fan of Inside Amy Schumer, then perhaps you've seen her relationship with wine already. It's pretty apparent she's not wasting any time with the small glasses. There's a lot of that going around!

2. Christine's Cracking Up

Make him pay
Skyler wanted to make Walter White pay. What better way than to scare the crap out of him with a stern face and a bottle of chardonnay? Breaking Bad indeed.

5. We Do! We Do!

We do we do
When the question is: Who wants wine? The appropriate answer is always either, we do, or I do. Never, in Cougar Town's crowd, admit to teetotaling. Just pour it into someone else's glass if you don't want it. Really. There will be a giant one that needs filling. Always.

6. Just One Glass a Day Extends Your Life

Just one glass a day for health benefits

New Girl Season 5 Episode 3 Review: Jury Duty

I could really use one of those advice bowls!

Yeah, New Girl Season 5 Episode 3 was pretty random, but it somehow seemed to work out. It was actually a pretty genius move to have Jess go away for a month for jury duty to accommodate Zooey Deschanel's pregnancy. They had to come up with something unique.

Let's not waste anymore time and discuss, "Jury Duty."

Jess As a Juror - New Girl

Was anyone at all surprised Nick would have a problem with Cece being messy? At first I felt like it was a little over the top, but I quickly remembered this was Nick we're talking about. It was hilarious seeing him trying to figure out how to get over the mound of clothes left in the hallway.

It also showed Nick can make just about any situation seem extremely dramatic. I actually understood why Jess didn't want Nick to confront Cece about her mess. Cece has a pretty bad temper, and Jess knows Cece would exact revenge on Nick in someway if he made her too angry.

I was a little confused by Cece's mess, though. Schmidt is such a neat freak, and I'd think Cece being a complete slob would drive him crazy. Do I think Schmidt would tell Cece to be cleaner? No, but I could totally see him cleaning up after her. He told Nick to clean up after himself for goodness sakes.

Of course if Schmidt has been cleaning up after Cece, we wouldn't have gotten the spectacular outburst from Nick. When he was talking about how cleaning was fly, I couldn't help but laugh. It was great how Schmidt finally realized, thanks to Jess, he was basically marrying Nick. I'm pretty sure everyone knew Cece was the female version of Nick.

I wasn't completely shocked to learn Jess was all about jury duty. She's always been someone who wants to do her civic duties. I was confused about why she had to try to get out of jury duty to get the acting principal position.

If she was picked to be on the jury, she would miss out on working with the woman she didn't like. I understood she wanted the chance to show she had what it takes, but I guarantee she'll get another opportunity to prove herself.

In the end, Nick and Cece finally made amends. I figured jealousy was going to be a factor in the two of them fighting. At least they both can now bond over their love of Schmidt. Of course the best thing was Jess, after taking off for a month, leaving behind the gown of advice for her friends – how will they survive without her?
