We're all guilty of it.

We compare our friends to the ones on television and try to find the similarities. Sometimes we do and it's spot on. We've all got a friend who's a Charlotte...or a Samantha.

Other times, it's not as easy to spot ourselves in friendships on TV and we end up envious of what we see on our screens.

New Girl Season 5 Episode 12 Review: D-Day

Who else is craving cake?

There was a lot to love about New Girl Season 5 Episode 12, but there were still a few dull moments. This season has arguably been one of the better seasons, but there are still a few things the writers need to work on.

Let's get right down to it and discuss "D-Day."

I can't be the only one who was enjoying Jess trying to help Schmidt out, right? I always look forward to Schmidt and Jess working together because they are such opposites. Of course I wasn't shocked to learn Schmidt had stretched himself way too thin when it came to planning the wedding.

Everyone had to know Schmidt would turn out to be a groomzilla. I wasn't the least bit surprised to see him make Jess wear a camera on her head so he could supervise what she was doing. I'll be honest, I really thought the whole wedding planning thing was going to be boring, but I found myself actually enjoying it.

While Schmidt was completely ridiculous in his ideas for what he wanted, I had to give him credit for trying to put together the perfect wedding. Jess's trick to getting Schmidt to relax and go to sleep was pretty hilarious. The poor guy really did need to rest up.

Of course, the best moment was when Schmidt revealed the man Jess made out with was his father. I really couldn't get angry at Schmidt for getting upset with Jess, but in her defense, she didn't know Gavin was Schmidt's dad.

I actually liked the moment between Schmidt and Gavin. Despite Schmidt's diva behavior he is still a good person. I knew he'd invite Gavin, and I really hope he does show up for the wedding. Speaking of Gavin, what a brilliant choice in casting Peter Gallagher as Schmidt's father.

I was a little confused by the whole Nick and Winston fighting over who had a harder job. As much as I love Winston and Nick together, it was such a lackluster storyline. There were some funny moments, but it just didn't grab my attention. It was nice to see Winston actually being a cop.

In the end, Nick apologized for fighting with Winston over who had a harder job. The only good thing to come out this boring plot was it showed Nick really cares about his job. He really has come a long way in the whole working department. Now we just need to get him, and Winston, a great romantic partner.

Now it's your turn! What did you think of Gavin? Did you think Schmidt will end up having the wedding of his dreams?

New Girl Season 5 Episode 13 Review: Sam, Again

Apology brownies don't work on everyone.

On New Girl Season 5 Episode 13, Jess finally found herself a job which turned out to be a perfect fit for her, but things can't be easy for our favorite girl.

At least we were treated to a very interesting visit from one of my favorite ex-boyfriends, Sam; though I could have done without the unkempt hair and beard.

Let's get right down to it and discuss, "Sam, Again."

Quarantine - New Girl

I'm not the only one who started cracking up when Nick immediately got sick, right?

I had a feeling Nick would succumb to some type of illness after bragging so much. It's actually pretty shocking Nick has never gotten sick considering how disgusting he can be.

I couldn't blame the roommates for putting Nick in quarantine, but it got even better when Cece was forced in with him. I have to admit, I never realized Nick and Cece haven't really spent a lot of time together.

One of the main reasons I am really enjoying this season of New Girl is because of the different pairings.

It seems like they're making an effort to put characters together who have rarely shared screen time. It's certainly a refreshing change and gives us a different perspective on the characters.

The only thing I really disliked about the whole quarantine thing was Winston pretending to be sick to get out of his date.

When will Winston grow a some confidence? At least he realized he was being ridiculous, but I knew the moment he escaped the room he would somehow get Schmidt sick. It was all really predictable.

Who else felt like the progressive school was the best place for Jess?

From the feelings room to the chicken coop, I could really see Jess grow as a teacher. It was also a brilliant idea to cast Lucy Punch as the principal, but I knew something would happen to mess with Jess's plans.

I knew the moment Sam made his appearance things would get awkward quickly.

I don't think anyone was shocked when Jess decided to ignore his friends advice and go talk to Sam. It was so hard watching her talk with Sam, and Genevieve, while also trying to plead for her job.

The whole apology between Nick and Sam was hilarious.

The moment Sam punched Nick I knew Jess would put together her own feelings farm. I have to admit I was a little moved by the things Nick said about his relationship with Jess. I'm still really curious if they'll eventually go down that road again.

In the end, this was just not a memorable episode of New Girl.

There were some funny moments, but everything was extremely predictable and I felt like it was more a filler episode. The only good thing to come out of it was Jess getting the job she deserved.

Now it's your turn! Do you think Nick and Jess will give it a go? Is Jess being at a progressive school a good thing?

You still have time to catch up before the season finale. Go watch New Girl online now via TV Fanatic. Just make sure to come back to let us know what you think.

17 TV Characters Who Have Impeccable Style

Fashion on TV has an undeniable affect on fashion trends off-screen. Some of the most stylish TV characters (both men and women) have inspired the clothing, accessories, makeup, and hair styles we see in the real world.

They also give us, as viewers, the confidence to try new styles for ourselves.

From Olivia Pope and Jessica Day, to Lucious Lyon and Sherlock Holmes, here are 17 TV characters with impeccable personal style.

1. Olivia Pope

Olivia pope scandal season 4 episode 19
Scandal's Olivia Pope is how every fierce woman wishes they could dress on a daily basis. From power suits and peacoats, to those super fashionable capes, Olivia Pope is a TV style icon. Don't believe me? The character has inspired her own line of clothes at The Limited. Her style is classic, yet sexy, and her hair is always on point. Girl, work!

2. Lydia Martin

Lydia martin photo
I could talk about her fierce braided updos all day, but let's focus on her wardrobe. Lydia Martin of MTV's Teen Wolf is one of my all-time favorite female characters, and her confidence and personal style are part of the reason. Her look is preppy, fresh, and suprisingly age-appropriate (something pretty rare on TV these days). The character is a great model for teenage girls looking to dress just like her.

3. Lucious Lyon

A family business empire
If there's one word to describe Lucious Lyon of Empire's style, it's 'sharp.' Those suits and statement blazers just exude power and confidence. Lucious constantly looks like he's ready to shoot the cover of GQ.

4. Felicity Smoak

Nice dress arrow s4e14
Smart is sexy, especially when you're Arrow's Felicity Smoak. The heels, the colorful body con dresses, and the black-framed glasses are what make up her signature style. Felicity always comes off professional and classy no matter what she's rocking.

5. Damon Salvatore

A final request the vampire diaries s6e14
There's something hot about a guy who knows what he looks good in and sticks with it. For The Vampire Dairies' Damon Salvatore, that's a neutral cotton v-neck t-shirt, a black leather jacket, dark-wash fitted jeans, and a glass of bourbon in hand. Hey, it's been working for him for over a century!

6. Aria Montgomery

Lucy hale promo pic
All of the leading ladies on Pretty Little Liars have an amazing sense of style, but there's something special about Aria Montgomery's. It's quirky, funky, and a little bolder than the other girls. She's also not afraid to rock statement jewelry and bold prints. We can all appreciate a fashion risk-taker and trend-setter.

New Girl Season 5 Episode 14 Review: 300 Feet

Always check your car or truck before getting in.

On New Girl Season 5 Episode 14, Jess went to great lengths to make amends with Sam while also trying to fight the restraining order he had on her. Winston gets a lot of credit for at least trying to be the voice of reason.

Restraining Order - New Girl

I was actually shocked to learn Jess had never been served with a restraining order. She has such a strong personality and can easily be too much for some people. Of course the whole restraining order ordeal was equal parts ridiculous and hilarious.

It made absolutely no sense why Sam would want to get a restraining order on Jess. This is a man who used to date her and knows exactly how she can be. While all the voice mails, phone calls and text messages were excessive she is not someone who can be considered dangerous. Insane maybe, but not dangerous.

On the other hand, Jess really should learn to take her friends advice. It would have been easy for her to just accept the restraining order, which was far too easy for Sam to get, and move on with her life. At least the whole car wash scene made up for Jess's absurd antics.

I figured the restraining order would lead to Sam and Jess getting back together. I'm honestly not opposed to the two of them getting back together. The only problem I have is getting behind a couple who you know isn't going to last – these two are certainly not going to make it.

Speaking of crazy antics, I couldn't get enough of Schmidt and Nick trying to take revenge on Connie. It baffled me how they could view an upscale bar being competition given the clientele their bar has, but the storyline seemed to work.

While I always look forward to Nick and Winston I really found myself missing Nick and Schmidt as a team. I can't help but be completely on board with whatever dumb idea they come up with.

I have been enjoying how passionate Nick has been when it comes to the management of the bar. I was getting irritated with how they were constantly making him mindless and making not want more out of life.

In the end, Nick and Schmidt made peace with Connie. Of course the best thing to come out of the meeting was Nick announcing their bar was getting valet. Schmidt's reaction was absolutely priceless and exactly what I would expect from him. I really do hope their bar continues to grow.

Now it's your turn! What do you think of Sam and Jess being back together? Do you like this more improved Nick? Were you disappointed with the lack of Winston?

New Girl Review: Decisions and Relationships

$
0
0

We got a double dose of New Girl and I'm starting to see how they are going to finish off this season. It seems as though the central theme this season is Jess finding herself while also trying to juggle her personal life.

On New Girl Season 5 Episode 15, Jess had to deal with the decision she made in dating Sam again. Was it a good choice? Of course not! Ever since she and Nick broke up, she's gone through a vicious cycle of men who aren't suitable matches.

It was pretty amusing watching Nick and Sam try to out-do themselves when Jess was talking about her trip to buy a car.

It would have been unrealistic to have Nick and Sam getting along with each other and becoming friends. I'm still having a hard time accepting the fact Jess' friends are OK with her dating Sam again. After everything she has been through and everything she has put Sam through it was never a good idea for them to get back together.

The sexiest car salesman storyline was incredibly boring. At least Nick and Sam were able to make it a little more bearable. Jess should have known the moment she told Sam about asking Nick for help he would show up at the dealership.

I was happy to see Jess finally get fed up and decide to go after what she wants. I'm really enjoying this new version of Jessica Day. It was time for her to finally grow a backbone, but I hope it continues to grow for the rest of the season.

Speaking of relationships, who else was loving Rhonda and Winston together? Winston has officially found the female version of himself – he certainly does have a specific type.

Of course, I knew the moment Winston and Rhonda got married he would somehow be forced to stay married. I'm really disappointed they're going down this road because I really want to see him and Aly get together. Rhonda could also get extremely annoying rather quickly, especially if she keeps up with all of her pranks.

Things got even more interesting on New Girl Season 5 Episode 16 when Jess had a sex dream about Nick.

At this point, either put Nick and Jess back together or let them move on with other people. It's becoming repetitive and irritating watching this back and forth. Like I said about New Girl Season 5 Episode 14, there's absolutely no reason to get behind Jess and Sam as a couple.

No matter who Jess dates, Nick will always be there as a reminder of who Jess used to be with. Sam doesn't stand a chance with her, especially with Nick still in the picture. Even Cece doesn't click with Sam which dooms the relationship even more. It was painful watching them try to have a conversation.

I couldn't help but feel bad for Sam when Jess refused to ruin the helmet. It was actually a sweet gesture on her part, but what really got me was Nick making the decision to stop coming between her and Sam.

I couldn't blame Nick for wanting the details of the sex dream. It probably would have been easier to just give Nick his things back instead of throwing them out; though I had to admit the entire sex dream was rather interesting. Jess really does have one wild imagination.

Of course, Ferguson was the one who ultimately stole the show. Ferguson can make even the most mundane storylines better. I completely disagree about Ferguson not having the face of a celebrity cat. I wasn't surprised to see Schmidt try to get Ferguson booked on Avatar.

It was hilarious when Schmidt poured the catnip all over himself. Schmidt really can be a pretty great friend even if he takes things just a little too far.

My favorite moment was Winston finding out Tripp is threatened by him. I've always been a giant Winston supporter, and I was incredibly happy he finally got a win.

Now it's your turn! Do you think Sam and Jess are doomed? Do you think Nick and Jess need to finally open up about their feelings? Were you happy to see Ferguson?

You still have time to catch up before the season finale! Go watch New Girl online now via TV Fanatic. Just make sure to come back to let us know what you think.

New Girl Review: Bachelor and Bachelorette

$

Can Nadia please plan all future parties?

I really enjoyed how they split up the bachelor and bachelorette parties into two episodes. Since they're going to continue on with double episodes it made sense why they would split up the parties.

On New Girl Season 5 Episode 17, Schmidt had to deal with his masculinity being challenged. Schmidt would be the one to choose, showing what kind of man he is by planning an impromptu bachelor party in Las Vegas with the boys.

I was actually a little confused by Schmidt feeling vulnerable when it came to his masculinity. While Schmidt may have had some self esteem issues when he was younger, it seems as though he has accepted himself.

I'd also like to think Schmidt wouldn't let some crazy man, who he only knew as Toby, put him in such a weird position. At least Schmidt questioning his manhood gave us the opportunity to see one very interesting bachelor party.

Was anyone else shocked to see Schmidt trying to light a cigar while trying to drive a motorcycle? At least the small crash he got into led to some hilarious moments at the bar.

I knew the moment they walked into the bar Schmidt would somehow find himself in some type of trouble. Schmidt yelling his name over and over again was entirely too much, but I had to give Schmidt credit for taking some tips from crazy Toby.

The entire fight sequence was completely over the top, but it really did work. Of course Schmidt's entire bachelor party would get involved in a bar fight with a bunch of hillbillies. It wouldn't have made sense if Schmidt's bachelor party was normal.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Nick's advice to Schmidt was fantastic. Nick can be a moron at times, but he brought up a lot of great points about why Schmidt would make a great husband. Schmidt needs to stop focusing on the flaws he thinks he has.

Ever since I've known you, you've been there. OK. You're always there. Even when I don't want you there, you're there. That's what a husband does. You fight for me. Thats what a husband does. You care about what I eat. That's what a husband does. You've cooked for me even when I don't ask. That's what a husband does. When I pass out you comb my hair so there's no knots in it. That's what a husband does. So guess what? You're gonna be a great husband to Cece cause you're a great husband to me.

Nick

My only complaint was Winston's continued pining over Aly. I'm ready for the two of them to either get together or for Winston to just move on.

The partying continued on New Girl Season 5 Episode 18, with what was supposed to be a more low-key bachelorette party, but things definitely didn't go as planned.

How could Cece not know Jess was going to plan one interesting bachelorette party? I didn't see the whole bong thing coming, but I wasn't surprised to learn Jess has a bad reaction to weed.

I was not looking forward to seeing yet another show have their characters be high. It's such a gimmicky way to put characters in completely ridiculous situations, but it actually worked out well in this case.

I couldn't help but laugh when Jess mentioned Coach. I was thrilled someone, even if they were high, finally mentioned Coach.

The best thing had to be Jess and Cece trying to return the bread maker after destroying it. To be completely honest, I wouldn't mind seeing these two high more often. Can you imagine the crazy situations they would get in?

Despite the craziness of the night, I did enjoy learning Cece is going through basically the same thing as Schmidt. It's interesting to look at Cece, and Schmidt, and see how they are consistently there for the people they care about.

Both of them are questioning how they are going to take care of each other when in reality they've always been the parents to their friends. An argument can easily be made about the both of them being the smartest people in the loft.

Of course the most memorable moments came at the very end. Winston finally getting the girl made me extremely happy. The poor guy has had some many failed relationships and it's time for him to have a win.

The only thing I question is how a relationship with Aly would work with Winston still married to Rhonda. I imagine Rhonda will be making her grand entrance at Schmidt and Cece's wedding and screw everything up for Winston.

Nadia throwing a Russian bachelor/bachelorette party was extremely inventive. It was such a smart idea to bring her back right before the wedding and throw an over the top party. Please have Nadia come to the wedding.

Now it's your turn! Did you like seeing Nadia again? Are you happy Schmidt and Cece worked through their fears? Would you like to see a high Jess again?

13 Best Guest Appearances on TV

Perhaps you know them from elsewhere...

Movies, music or other TV shows.

But these actors made quite an impression with nothing more than a guest role.

Some of them did it over a several installments while others had just one episode to make their mark.

Either way, we found their performances not only memorable but unforgettable.

From dramas to comedies to sci-fi...

Check out these 13 guest stars who left their mark on some our favorite current shows on TV.

1. James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter - Supernatural

Charisma carpenter and james marsters on supernatural
James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter appeared on Supernatural as a bickering married couple. They were also powerful witches and were using their magic against each other. Dean and Sam stepped in to stop it but in the end, it was their love that ended the feud. Seeing Buffy the Vampire Slayer alums together is always fun! They didn't interact all that much on Buffy (with Cordeilia going over to Angel) but they did some pretty heavy interacting on Supernatural (if you know what I mean!)

2. Paul Reubens - Gotham

Penguins dad gotham season 2 episode 15
Who doesn't love Pee-wee Herman? Though not as wacky as his iconic man/boy character, Paul Reubens' stint as Elijah Van Dahl was just the kind of quirky you'd expect Penguin's dad to be. It's just too bad we were only able to enjoy Reubens for two short episodes.

3. Cyndi Lauper - Bones

Cyndi lauper guest stars on bones
Cyndi Lauper has guest starred on Bones four times as psychic Avalan Harmonia…and isn't that just the perfect name! Lauper's Avalan plays perfectly next to Angela's open mindedness and even better opposite Brennan's strict science driven, evidence based philosophy. A psychic certainly wouldn't fit in regularly at the Jeffersonian but whenever Lauper pops in for a visit we know it’s going to be fun.

4. Megan Fox - New Girl

Megan fox new girl
First, she was actually very funny. Second, she allowed the show to focus on the men of the loft instead of Jess, which is where the real humor lies. Third, she looked like Megan Fox!

5. Samuel L. Jackson - Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Samuel l jackson marvels agents of shield
S.H.I.E.L.D. had just fallen when Hydra's activated members took the organization down from within. Ward had just revealed he was Hydra and dropped FitzSimmons into the ocean. Everything was falling apart and all hope was lost until Nick Fury, the then director of the crumbling organization showed up to pull them out of the water. Let's face it, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury will always be our hero.

6. Oliver Platt - The Good Wife

Oliver platt the good wife
Oliver Platt joined The Good Wife for three episodes and they were awesome. Watching conservative billionaire Reese Dimple debate abortion and gay rights with liberal Diane Lockhart made for truly compelling TV. The discussion was as intelligent as it was riveting and Platt and Baranski’s performances were at the top of their game. Our only disappointment was that we didn't get to see more of R.D. before the series end.

New Girl Review: Dress and Return to Sender

Can we please have Winston create a song for Cece and Schmidt's wedding?

When other shows decide to double up on episodes, it usually means they're trying to burn off those remaining, but New Girl has found a way to make it work.

The double dose of Jess and friends makes me even more excited about the upcoming wedding between Cece and Schmidt. It was actually a smart idea to make the second half of the season all about the events leading to the wedding of the season.

The lead up to the wedding started on New Girl Season 5 Episode 19, with Jess being tasked with fixing the atrocity of a dress Cece bought whole drunk. I was pleased they didn't gloss over Jess fixing the dress and instead made it a big deal.

I figured Jess wouldn't have even started on the dress. I was surprised Cece didn't question Jess further about the state of her dress. The two of them have been friends forever. Cece had to have a feeling Jess was procrastinating when she was constantly given the brush off about seeing the dress.

Jess's frustration with the dress was rather comical, but why didn't she think to ask Schmidt for help in the first place? Schmidt, of all people, would be the one to go to about finishing things for the wedding.

No one else was really shocked to learn Schmidt created his own office in the restroom at work, right? It was actually a pretty genius move, but I knew he would get caught eventually.

The only problem I had with Schmidt's work was the way he was blowing off his job. Schmidt has always been a workaholic – there's no way he would just put all attention on the wedding and ignore his job.

On the plus side, we got a chance to see Jess at Schmidt's work which was a welcomed change. I always look forward to seeing Schmidt's boss because she is such a terrible person who I can't help but love.

I was beyond thrilled Aly and Winston are finally dating. They really are a great couple. Winston brings out a completely different side to Aly. Can we please flashback to more of Aly working with babies?

I am not looking forward to Rhonda eventually returning and ruining things for them. Can she please just give Winston a divorce already? Hasn't this "prank" gone too far?

Was I the only one who wasn't interested in Nick trying to get ahold of Regan? I miss Regan, I really do, but I hate how obsessed Nick is being when it comes to her. I also thought it was established she would be going to the wedding before she even moved out of the loft.

The buildup to the wedding continued on New Girl Season 5 Episode 20, but this time revolved around Nick being nervous about Schmidt's father letting Schmidt down.

Nick's love for his friends, and when he will do to make sure they're OK, is why I could never fully dislike him. Does his obsessive behavior with Regan get on my nerves? Of course, but he really is a great guy.

Nick did bring up some great points about Gavin being an absentee parent. Even though we know Schmidt is like a husband to Nick, Nick is like a wife to Schmidt. He has always been there to pick up the pieces when Schmidt has been disappointed by his father.

I totally called Schmidt and Cece's wedding not happening at the warehouse. Gavin stepping up and offering his vineyard to Schmidt was a great moment. They deserve to have the wedding of their dreams and it's time for Gavin to finally be the father Schmidt deserves.

Was I the only one a little confused about Jess not knowing Sam's friends? She's dated him before, wouldn't she at least know who Diane was?

Jess's jealousy also made absolutely no sense. Jess is living with her ex boyfriend for goodness sakes – she's the last person who should be getting upset; though I figured Diane would reveal she was in love with Sam after being confronted by Jess.

Even though I do like Sam and Jess together I'll never be able to fully get behind their relationship. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I would be totally fine with being proven wrong, but at this time, I am just waiting for the inevitable break up.

It also seems odd how the writers are constantly adding in best friends being in love or unrequited love. Are they trying to tell us something?

Now it's your turn! Are you happy with the change of venue? Do you think Nick deserves more credit when it comes to his friends? Are you able to get behind Sam and Jess as a couple?

New Girl Season Finale Review: The Wedding

After building up to it all season it was finally time to celebrate Schmidt and Cece's wedding.

An argument can easily be made about how well they constructed this season of New Girl. I actually enjoyed how the main focus was the wedding with other crazy antics thrown in. It really did help hype the main event.

The festivities got underway on New Girl Season 5 Episode 21, with the ending of Schmidt and Cece's rehearsal dinner. I'm pleased they didn't dedicate an entire episode to the rehearsal dinner because it's been done to death on other shows.

Schmidt Needs Help - New Girl

I could not stop laughing at Winston trying to get Schmidt and Cece to stop kissing so they could go to bed. Winston has easily been the MVP this season.

Winston has grown into his own. He also finally grew a backbone and told Aly how he felt about her which resulted in them getting together and professing their love. My only complaint when it comes to Winston is how his marriage to Rhonda is going to affect things.

Of course Schmidt was going to lose his vows the night before the wedding. Why would a man like Schmidt not have backup of his vows somewhere?

I really found myself confused about Schmidt's behavior this season. He has always been an extremely organized people when it comes to important things. How the heck could he lose the vows?

It was hilarious listening to Nick, and Winston, trying to help Schmidt write new vows. Schmidt really would have been better off just getting generic vows off the internet instead of listening to those two adorable morons.

I figured this would be the end of Sam and Jess's relationship. There was never any reason to get behind them because their demise as a couple was inevitable – especially after the introduction of Diane.

I almost wish they would have broken up when Diane came to visit because it would have made more sense. I did find myself agreeing with Sam about Jess still having feelings for Nick – it's been clear since the moment she came back from jury duty that she still had a thing for Nick.

The Wedding - New Girl

The wedding really kicked into high gear on New Girl Season 5 Episode 22, but things didn't exactly go as planned.

I called it at the beginning of the season about Schmidt and Cece's wedding not happening the way they thought it would. It was incredibly sweet of Schmidt to go to great lengths to get Cece's mom to come to their wedding.

Even though Schmidt wasn't at the wedding, it was still one of the best "weddings" I've seen in a long time. It was a genius move having Schmidt being part of the festivities while still being stuck on the plane.

The most interesting development came when Jess was the one to finally realize she still held a torch for Nick. Can we please not drag out the possibility of Nick and Jess getting back together?

It was interesting to hear, again, why Jess ultimately wanted to break things off with Nick because I had actually forgotten. My heart broke a little bit for Jess when she realized Regan was going to go after the man she still wanted.

But it's difficult to get behind Nick and Regan as a couple. As much as I have enjoyed Regan, I don't see her being able to put up with all of Nick's eccentricities. It's also clear they're going to head down the Nick and Jess road again next season.

In the end, the friends put together the perfect wedding for Schmidt and Cece. They never needed an extravagant wedding. They only needed to be surrounded by close friends and family.

Now it's your turn to tell me what you think! Did you enjoy Schmidt and Cece's wedding? Are you ready for the Nick and Jess storyline to be resolved? Are you still wondering where Ferguson was going on the elevator?

Fox has uncorked its full 2016-2017 schedule... and there are plenty of surprises to be found.

For starters, much-hyped reboots/revivals 24: Legacy and Prison Break are being held back for mid-season.

Corey Hawkins on 24: Legacy

That's got to sting a little for fans of Prison Break who were expecting the show to premiere at some point this year.

The good news for 24: Legacy is that it's getting the post Super Bowl slot, premiering in front of a giant audience after the Big Game on February 5.

For the most part, the fall schedule is very stable, with not much movement for existing shows.

Ominously missing from the fall schedule is Sleepy Hollow, which is expected to undergo a major revamp for Season 4 after the departure of lead, Nicole Beharie. It will return mid-season.

13 Epic Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Fails

$

You know the story. Someone gets involved with the party planning that shouldn't, and chaos ensues.

Usually that chaos involves a stripper. Sometimes it just involves a drunk dial.

Either way, bachelor and bachelorette parties rarely go as planned on our favorite television shows. Check out some of the most memorable (and terrible) parties below!

1. Friends

Friends
Pheobe had a very different idea about what her bachelorette party would be like than the friends who threw it for it, which resulted in a last minute stripper (played by Danny Devito) who no one wanted to see.

2. Grey's Anatomy

Greys anatomy
Derek realizes he's supposed to throw Burke a bachelor party, so he throws together a last minute gathering at Joe's. The most significant moments of the party happens when Derek goes to the bar to get a drink, and we meet Lexi Grey for the first time.

3. The Office

The office
In an episode aptly titled "Ben Franklin," Jim is in charge of ordering a stripper for the women, but orders a Ben Franklin impersonator instead. The guy really knows his stuff, too.

4. Parks and Recreation

Parks and recreation
Leslie's bachelorette party does not go as planned, even though it starts out with everything you'd expect from a typical bachelorette party. Unfortunately, it ends with the ladies digging stuff out of a pit all night. The guys do better with the bachelor party, which ends up with each of them getting the bachelor party they never had.

5. The Big Bang Theory

The big bang theory
The guys don't quite make it to Leonard's bachelor party on The Big Bang Theory, since they end up with a flat tire on the side of the road that have no idea how to change. Still, they managed to make the evening fun, including Sheldon belting out "We Will Rock You."

6. Gilmore Girls

Gilmore girls
Before calling off her wedding to Max Medina, Lorelai's bachelorette party is held at a drag club, where they talk the bouncer into letting in an underage Rory. Lorelai has a few too many long island iced teas and drunk dials Christopher, then realizes Max isn't the one.

19 Characters We Want at Our Summer Pool Party!!

Let's get this party started!

There's nothing better than a cool pool party on a hot summer day. Better yet is when your pool party is filled with good food, good drink, and good music topped with a whole lot of fun people.

Each of these characters below would add their own brand of fun to any party, and we think they'd be a blast at ours!

Who would you invite? Hit the comments and let us know.

1. Dany - Game of Thrones

Dany game of thrones
Dany is one determined girl, and if she wants to have a good time, she's going to have a good time! How can she not have a good time at this party? Hopefully she'll bring a dragon or two to help start up the grill!

2. Castle - Castle

Castle castle
Any guy who dresses up as Elvis for a friend’s bachelor party is definitely someone we want to have at our party. He might be the goofiest of the bunch, but he sure knows how to have a good time. Added bonus: you know he’ll bring Beckett (but hopefully not the kids!)

3. Sara Lance - DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Sara lance dcs legends of tomorrow
Underneath all that sexy badassness is a chick who likes to party. Not only will she drink you under the table, she'll blow you away on the dance floor. And, you can be sure if someone starts misbehaving, she'll be the first one to put them in their place.

4. Dr. Bull - Bull

Dr bull bull
There's nothing wrong with having a good doctor around, especially one that can dispense some great advice. There certainly are some people here that need it. And while we know the picture is of Dr. Bull when he used to be Special Agent DiNozzo, there is no doubt that this new persona is going to be just as fun as the old.

5. Dean - Supernatural

Dean winchester supernatural
No party would be complete without Dean Winchester. Not only would he crank up some good tunes, he’d make sure the hamburgers were cooked just right, and he might just show us the right way to play air guitar.

6. Baz - Animal Kingdom

Baz animal kingdom
Actually any of the Cody brothers would be fine at our party, but Baz is our favorite. While he likes to have a good time, he has a tendency not to take it too far, and we’ll definitely need some sensibility with this cast of characters.

13 Geeks We'd Like to Take Out for a Drink

From the stereotypical ones with glasses to the ones who are just a little nerdy on the inside, some of our favorite TV characters are the ones who are total geeks.

Here are 13 of those geeks we adore so much, we'd love to share a drink with them.

1. Liz Lemon (30 Rock)

Liz lemon at her desk
She can be awkward, that's for sure, but can you imagine anyone more fun to hang out and have a cocktail with than 30 Rock's Liz Lemon?

2. Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory)

Sheldon at work
Listen, Sheldon Cooper is a difficult guy, so it might not be that fun to hang out with him in general. But when he starts drinking? Who wouldn't want to be around for that?

3. Chuck Bartowski (Chuck)

Chuck bartowski chuck
If there's such a thing as a cool geek (and come on, there totally is) then Chuck Bartowski, played by Zachary Levi, fits the bill. We'd definitely love to share a drink with him some time.

4. Jessica Day (New Girl)

Zooey deschanel as jess
Jess definitely knows how to embrace her inner-geek, and she does so in style. She isn't afraid to be silly or say what's on her mind, and she's definitely someone who would be fun to spend time with.

5. Jack Hodgins (Bones)

Jack hodgins bones
Picture it. Hanging out at the Founding Fathers and sharing conspiracy theories with Jack Hodgins would be a blast. As long he avoids talking about bugs and slime, that is.

6. Ross Geller (Friends)

Ross geller friends
You could learn a lot from a conversation with Ross Geller, especially if you're interested in Dinosaurs. Just don't give him TOO much to drink, and don't let him near a keyboard, okay?
